<p style="text-align: left;">Hi everyone. Sorry I haven&#8217;t been updating as actively as before.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It&#8217;s been hard&#8230;these past few weeks. Can&#8217;t really say it here, but let&#8217;s just say I&#8217;m just trying to live&#8230;more like, survive each day. Who isn&#8217;t, right? So I&#8217;m going to stop right here about that.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I came across a quote on <a href="http://everydayfoodiluvkk.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Everyday Food I Love KK</a>:</p>

<p>That just hit home.</p>
<p>It makes perfect sense.</p>
<p>Our present actions today does affects us &#8211; tomorrow, next week, next year.</p>
<p>For myself, I&#8217;d definitely conclude that the fact wherever state I am right now &#8211; is contributed to certain actions or decisions that I made. Also, circumstances interplay too.</p>
<p>Somethings I don&#8217;t regret. Somethings I do.</p>
<p>What is more important right now &#8212; at this very moment &#8212; is <em><strong>making a decision to do something for future me, and to take action.</strong></em></p>

<p>First,<strong> I took the Body Test</strong> in Wii Fit. If you are serious in getting shape and sticking with Wii, I would definitely recommend to take a body test as you need to know on your BMI, weight, balance, etc and also your Wii Fit age. Besides, they keep a visual graph record based on your body test, and in one way, it helps you keep track on your progress :).</p>

My goal is to lose 2 pounds in a month, only to realize it does not match with what I really want to lose weight (hate the conversion between pounds and kg). So if I want to be 55 kg, that&#8217;s about 3 kg difference. In conversion, that&#8217;s about 6 pounds, so I&#8217;ll change my goal tomorrow.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">I really like the <strong>Fit Bank</strong> in the Wii Fit. It keep tracks on the time you spent training. Oprah says you should spent at least 10 minutes (or was it 15 minutes?) a day, exercising. For me, I find myself motivated by the Fit Bank.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Late January 2009, I was just below 60 kg &#8211; arms definitely smaller, and my pants was quite loose!  And sporting a short haircut after decades&#8230;I really started enjoying how I feel about my body and about myself.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">April 18, 2009 &#8211; the April babies were celebrated at Secret Recipe, Warisan Square. I remember weighing myself at home that night &#8212; I was 55 kg. (probably lost from all the running and stress hahahahaha)</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">So you asked, <em><strong>What happen?</strong></em></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Sigh.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">As I reflect about the months after that, <em><strong>especially in late November right through January</strong></em>, w-ell:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>I lost control of my eating habits.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">(It doesn&#8217;t help the fact I stopped exercising with Wii Fit, because I had to return the TV to the original owner -__-)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I can draw up several reasons:</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">1. I had a sudden inkling to drink Pepsi every time I went out to eat.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">2. Return to Lays-gorging (dang it those 20-baht packets!)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">3. I skipped breakfast.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">4. Ate out more often than usual. (More white rice)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">My routine was really thrown off the track. And really, there&#8217;s nobody I can blame but myself because really, if I was discipline enough, I could have made it. I could have maintained 55 kg.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">But hey, maintaining your weight is just as hard as losing them. True story.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>AND I PLAN TO GET BACK IN SHAPE &#8211; Yes, I&#8217;m going to try lose the weight that I gained!</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">(and the fact I&#8217;m making this public, well, I&#8217;m feeling more accountable then! Hehe)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So today, this morning, I weighed myself.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Let me tell you why I&#8217;m doing this again:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">(before you give me &#8216;Deanna, beauty on the outside doesn&#8217;t matter&#8217; bla bla bla)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Before 2009, the last time I was 55 kg was 8 years ago&#8230;that&#8217;s right, EIGHT. I finished my high school and I just entered college.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">When my weight went down to 55 kg last year&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>I felt so light.</strong> After such a long time.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>I felt stronger.</strong> Like I could do things faster, better&#8230;especially in the physical aspect.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">And of course, of course &#8211; to be able to fit in my fave pair of shorts or a top that I haven&#8217;t worn for a long time (and thank God I haven&#8217;t thrown them out!)&#8230;it was just pure bliss. <em><strong>I felt good.</strong></em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">That kind of feeling&#8230;I won&#8217;t be able to describe to you exactly how good it feels to be <em>lighter</em>. Especially coming from my background, who&#8217;s always been challenged with weight.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">So how I&#8217;m going to do this again?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">I&#8217;ll repeat what I did last year.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">1. I&#8217;m back to eating breakfast (wholewheat bread with a slice of cheese).</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">2. I&#8217;m back to eating lunch at home.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">My standard lunch meal &#8211; Boiled broccoli, (asparagus), (salmon balls) with Japanese green noodles and soft-boiled egg. Mix them with sesame oil, soy sauce and black pepper powder. Yum! :)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">3. I will resume back to Wii Fitting&#8230;as soon as I get a TV (crosses fingers). (Well since I walk to my office, back to home for lunch, return to office, then back to home again the evening&#8230;that&#8217;ll be my workout so far)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I also need to</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">1. Stop snacking (as in, bye bye, 20baht Lays!)</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">2. NO MORE PEPSI and OISHI GREEN TEA/LIPTON/ETC.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">3. Do not have dinner 2 hours before sleeping.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">At least, for the next few months lah&#8230;:). I know it&#8217;s not easy to do all things at one go (actually, it&#8217;s not advisable&#8230;because you might not stick through the routine!). So I&#8217;ll take one thing at the time:</p>
