After many, many hours of reading forums, experimenting with sizes and whatnot…I finally got Simple Folio theme up and running in my website!
I feel like celebrating! (it was real hard work…no wonder there were a lot of people who had a hard time to figure out specs and stuff)
I plan to make short visual tutorial on how to install and work with Simple Folio. Maybe it can help people like me who were ‘lost’. It’s the least I could do, given that the theme was free and that there is a forum (though closed) who helped a lot in giving solutions to problems.
I want to personally thank Omar for designing this theme and making it free. It is a beautiful design, Omar! And certainly much appreciated by designers like me.

Oh, hello there. Congratulations on successfully setting up simplefolio. I have been contemplating in using it as a theme for a photoblog that I plan to set up. But it looks “intimidating” for me =( If I decide to use it, I hope I can be as successful as you are in setting it up.

It doesn’t look like your slider is working anymore. I can’t get mine to work ether. Do you still plan on putting together a tutorial? Would you be willing to help get my slider working?
