Stir-fry noodles with Ikan Bilis seasoning - serving for ONE :)
Ingredients
1. 3-4 Garlic, minced
2. Broccoli (amount up to you)
3. Fishcake or toufu, sliced
4. An egg
5. A packet of yellow noodles
The brand that I use for my noodles: MENDAKE Japanese Style Noodles
The tofu that I bought from KK, Sabah. Thai tofu taste different, trust me :)
You also need:
1. Oil (doh)
2. Sesame oil
3. Light soy sauce
4. Black pepper powder
and
5. Ikan bilis seasoning powder
Every Malaysian should have Cap Ayam’s Kicap Soya Cair in their home.
Let’s start!
1. Boil noodles. When boiled, put noodles aside.
2. Throw in garlic. Saute them. When color change, throw in broccoli and tofu (don’t wait until it’s too brown!).
3. Stir-fry broccoli and tofu for awhile. Mix with sesame oil and sprinkle ikan bilis seasoning powder all over.
4. After that, put in the noodles. Pour the soy sauce all over the noodles, and continue to toss. Sprinkle a little bit of black pepper powder.
5. Make an empty spot in the center of the wok, and crack an egg into the spot. Mix the egg with the noodles, and the broccoli and tofu. Add a little bit more ikan bilis seasoning onto the noodles.
6. After you have achieve the desired stir-fry noodles ’smell’ and ‘look’, turn off the fire and serve.
